We use two different methods to process your files, depending on the tool you use:

Client-Side Processing (Browser-Based): For tools like JPG to PDF, Merge PDF, Split PDF, and PDF Editor, your files are processed directly inside your web browser. These files never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Server-Side Processing (Cloud-Based): For premium conversion tools (specifically PDF to Word, PDF to Excel, and PDF to PowerPoint), we use a secure cloud server to ensure high-quality formatting. These files are uploaded temporarily to process the conversion.

2. Use of Third-Party Services (Adobe API)

To provide professional-grade conversions for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, we utilize the Adobe PDF Services API. By using these specific tools, you acknowledge that:

Your file is securely transmitted via encryption (HTTPS) to our server and then to Adobe's processing engine.
Adobe processes the file solely for the purpose of conversion.
Adobe does not retain your files and adheres to strict enterprise security standards.

3. Data Retention Policy

We have a strict Zero-Retention Policy:

Files uploaded to our server are automatically deleted immediately after the conversion process is complete and the download link is generated.
We do not create backups of your documents.
We do not look at, read, or mine data from your uploaded files.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic (e.g., which tools are popular). This data is anonymous and does not contain any personal information or file contents. We use standard cookies to improve website performance.

We employ industry-standard security measures, including:

SSL/TLS Encryption: All data transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted.
Secure Servers: Our backend infrastructure is hosted on secure cloud providers with limited access.
